Upon learnin' 'bout Peyton Manning's recent flight misfortune, Tom Brady, unable to restrain his mirth, took to the seas of social media, cracking a jest that keeps their competition alive even in their pirate retirement. Arrr!

Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning shared a story about a recent uncomfortable flight experience on "The Pat McAfee Show." Manning mentioned that he was freezing cold in the back of the plane and jokingly asked if Tom Brady had ever experienced the same while sitting in seat 36F on a Delta flight. Manning then went on to describe how cold he felt in the exit row, despite the extra legroom.
In response to Manning's comments, Brady took to social media and playfully defended himself, saying, "I'm sure the temperature was perfect. Peyton could never handle life outside the dome..." Brady's comment was accompanied by a video from the show. Critics have previously argued that Manning struggled to perform in cold-weather conditions, especially when playing outdoors.
Manning and Brady, two of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, faced each other 17 times during their careers, with Brady winning 11 of those matchups. Brady, who won a total of seven Super Bowls throughout his career, retired after winning one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. Manning, on the other hand, won two Super Bowls during his career, one with the Indianapolis Colts and one with the Denver Broncos.
Despite Manning's retirement after his Super Bowl victory in 2015, Brady continued to take playful jabs at him. In 2021, Brady even attended Manning's induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and jokingly expressed his need to make sure Manning was truly done playing, stating, "Can't risk this guy coming back...".
