Arr, me hearties! The gallant Alabama star, Mark Ingram, be full of hope fer his beloved Crimson Tide! He be sailin' with confidence, reckonin' they'll secure a spot in the College Football Playoff. May the winds blow fair and the victory be theirs, me mateys!
In the language of a 17th-century pirate, mateys, it appears that the Alabama Crimson Tide be losin' a bit o' their dominance on the football field. Arrr! Now, me hearties, the Crimson Tide did suffer a loss to them pesky Texas Longhorns early in the season. But fear not, for they have bounced back with victory after victory against Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, and Arkansas. Aye, the Longhorns be the only blemish on their record, but the Crimson Tide be undefeated in SEC play.
But hold on to yer hats, me mateys! There be more news on the horizon. A former Crimson Tide star named Mark Ingram, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2009, believes that Alabama still has a shot at makin' the College Football Playoff. He be sayin', "They just have to keep improving, me hearties! We didn't know who we were in the beginning, but now we be improvin' tremendously! Jalen Milroe be playin' better, and we be utilizin' his skills to our advantage."
And indeed, Milroe be showin' off his skills on the field. He has thrown for 1,397 yards and 11 touchdowns in the first seven games of the season. Against them Aggies, he be havin' a season-high of 321 passing yards and three touchdown passes in a close 26-20 win. He be followin' that up with 238 passing yards and two touchdown passes in a 24-21 victory over Arkansas.
But there be more work to be done, me hearties! Ingram be sayin' that the offensive line and defensive line need to keep improvin' and buildin' upon their recent success. They be playin' tough, physical football, me mateys, and that be the key to their future success.
So, me hearties, keep yer eyes on the Crimson Tide! They be ranked No. 11 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll, and they be settin' sail for revenge against them pesky Tennessee Volunteers who knocked 'em last season in Knoxville. After that, they be takin' on Kentucky. Arrr, it be an excitin' season for the Alabama Crimson Tide!
