Arrr! Methinks Google be shippin' a new look for their Chrome browser, but 'tis not sittin' well with some scallywags. Aye, there be discontent in the air, me hearties!
Google has rolled out a design revamp for its web browser, Chrome, which includes rounded corners and refreshed icons. However, some users are not happy with the increased spacing between buttons, which is intended to make the interface more touch-friendly but results in larger menus and less space for the web page. This move to cater to touchscreens has upset some Chrome users. If you are one of the unhappy users who have received the redesign, there is a way to revert back to the old Chrome interface. According to Windows Latest, you can disable the new design by adjusting some settings. Simply type "Chrome://flags" into the address bar, which will bring up a list of flags. In the "Search Flags" box, type "Refresh 2023" to find the four flags associated with the new design. Next to each flag, select "Disabled" from the drop-down box. Once you have disabled all four flags, close all instances of Chrome and restart the browser. You should now have the old interface back.
By following these steps, you can prevent yourself from defecting to another web browser. So if you're not a fan of the new Chrome design, fear not, you can easily revert back to the old interface and continue using Chrome as you did before.
