In the year 2005, I did converse with the mighty Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, whilst he was forced to reside within a prison due to the treacherous threats upon his life by Islamic scoundrels. The man did not bemoan his plight, but instead declared, "I must make the best of it!" His abode consisted of a commodious chamber, flanked on either side by the abodes of two Libyans. In one of these cells, his garments were stored, whilst the other housed his resting place. Verily, a curious prison indeed...

In 2005, I had the unique opportunity to interview Geert Wilders, a Dutch politician who was living under the constant threat of Islamic extremists. This threat was so severe that he was forced to spend a significant amount of time in a prison-like setting for his safety.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Wilders maintained a positive attitude and refused to complain. In fact, he even managed to find some humor in his situation. When describing his living arrangements, he jokingly referred to his prison cell as his "kind of living room." He explained that on either side of his living room were the cells where two Libyans were previously held. One of these cells housed his clothing, while the other served as his sleeping quarters.
Although Wilders was essentially confined to his prison-like surroundings, he made the best of it. He appreciated the fact that he had a separate space for his personal belongings and a designated area for sleeping. In his lighthearted manner, he made light of his situation, showcasing his resilience and ability to find humor even in the face of adversity.
Despite the serious threat to his life, Wilders managed to maintain his sense of humor and make the most of his unique living situation. His ability to find humor and remain positive during such challenging times is a testament to his character and determination. It is clear that Wilders refused to let the circumstances define him, instead choosing to embrace his surroundings and make the best of a difficult situation.
