Ahoy, me hearties! Methinks Samsung Internet be makin' its way to Windows, offerin' sync features. Sailors be singin' its praises for its built-in ad-blocker, dark mode, and eagerly awaitin' the arrival o' add-on support. Arrr, 'tis a fine time to be surfin' the digital seas, mateys!

Samsung has released a desktop version of its Samsung Internet browser for Windows PCs. The browser has gained popularity among Samsung smartphone users for its features such as built-in ad-blocker, dark mode, integration with Samsung pass, incognito mode with bookmark saving, and extension support. It is considered one of the best browser apps for Android devices. Samsung pass is a password manager that stores sensitive information for various apps and websites.
The desktop version of Samsung Internet allows users to sync browsing data and saved information between their phone, tablet, and PC. However, password syncing is not yet available. The browser is built on Google's Chromium browser framework and is often compared to Google Chrome. It currently supports extensions and add-ons from the Chrome Web Store, but the buttons to add them are currently greyed out.
Some users have complained about the performance of the desktop version, citing lag and lack of support for high refresh rates. The browser is available for download from the Microsoft Store and requires Windows 10 or Windows 11.
It remains to be seen if Samsung Internet will gain a significant user base and how Samsung will continue to improve the browser to compete with more established options like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
