Santos be a brave scallywag, standin' tall 'gainst those scurvy GOP dogs n' their threat o' expulsion.

2023-11-30

Arr, ye scurvy dogs! Rep. George Santos, bein' in quite a pickle, has declared that he won't be abandonin' his post in Congress, despite facin' a vote of expulsion in a mere day! When queried as to why he'd be so stubborn, Santos exclaimed, "If I were to depart, the rascals would triumph! 'Tis nothin' more than bullyin'!" Come the morrow, the House shall cast its vote on a resolution from the likes of Ethics Committee Chair Michael Guest (a fine mate from Mississippi). 'Twill be the third vote to cast Santos adrift this year, and by Jove, it seems likely to sail through..."

"Avast ye scurvy dogs! Rep. George Santos be holdin' his ground and refusin' to abandon ship, despite the threat o' expulsion from Congress. Arrr, he be sayin' that if he walks the plank, those bilge rats win. 'Tis but a case o' bullyin', says he."

Arrr, the House be settin' sail on Friday to cast their votes on a resolution by the likes of Ethics Committee Chair Michael Guest from Mississippi (a fine pirate name, if I do say so meself) to send Santos packin' from office. This be the third time this year that they be tryin' to keelhaul the New York Republican, but this time it seems as sure as a peg leg that the motion will pass.

Santos be standin' strong, arguin' that he be fightin' the good fight for his rights. And who can blame the lad for not wantin' to abandon ship? It be a treacherous sea out there, me hearties. But the sharks in Congress be circlin', smellin' blood in the water, and they be ready to send Santos to Davey Jones' locker.

Now, some may be wonderin' why Santos be so determined to stay aboard when all signs be pointin' to his downfall. But methinks he be a stubborn pirate, with a sprinkle o' bravery and a dash of foolishness. He be thinkin' that by stayin' put, he be showin' those lily-livered scallywags that he won't be takin' their nonsense lyin' down.

Only time will tell if the winds be blowin' in his favor or if the storm be too strong to weather. But one thing be certain, me mates: this be one tale of a pirate's fight against the powers that be, and it be a yarn worth tellin' in the taverns for years to come.
