AI still has a long way to go, but writing with your voice is becoming easier. Dictating your work can be a game-changer, and I have some tips to make your spoken words shine on the page. Plus, there's a chance to win a free iPhone 15 valued at $799, so make sure to enter!

Depending on your operating system and software, dictation commands may or may not work, but it's definitely worth a try. For Microsoft Word and Outlook, you can easily dictate by selecting the body of the message and clicking on the "Dictate" button. For Google Docs, simply click on the microphone icon in the Chrome browser. Windows 10 and 11 also have dictation features, which can be activated by pressing specific keys. For MacOS, you can start dictation by clicking the microphone button or using the Dictation keyboard shortcut.

Remember to use your "inside voice" when dictating to smart assistants for the best results.
