Arr, mateys! Avast ye! We've got news o' three brand spankin' new Galaxy Book laptops from Samsung, but alas, the gold they be demandin' for 'em remains a mystery!

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 series of Windows 11 ultrabooks has been officially announced, after being the subject of several leaks. These new laptops are equipped with upgraded displays, new Meteor Lake processors, and additional artificial intelligence features. The top-end model, the 16-inch Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, features a 400-nit, 120Hz AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels. It offers a choice of Intel Core Ultra 9 or Core Ultra 7 CPUs, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or 4050 GPUs, and various RAM and SSD storage options.
The Pro model comes in both 14-inch and 16-inch versions, with similar screen specs as the Ultra. It offers a choice of Intel Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra 5 processors and Intel Arc graphics. However, the Pro laptops have limited RAM and SSD storage options compared to the Ultra model. The Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, the fourth model in the series, has a 16-inch screen and a foldable display. It has the same spec options as the Pro laptops, with limited SSD storage choices.
These new laptops feature a variety of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a micro SD card slot, and a headphone/microphone jack. They also have a redesigned cooling system and improved battery life compared to the previous editions. Samsung Studio, a new video-editing tool, has also been introduced. The laptops will be available for sale in South Korea in January, but pricing and availability details for other countries are yet to be announced. The color options for the laptops include gray and silver.
Overall, these new additions to Samsung's laptop lineup seem promising, with the highlight being the new Intel Core Ultra chips that enhance performance and include neural processing units for AI operations. However, a hands-on review will be necessary to give a comprehensive verdict on their performance.
