When asked if he thought he would still be the head coach, he responded, "I don't know." But when pressed further if he thought he should be, he confidently answered, "Yes."
Staley took ownership of the Chargers' breakdown and acknowledged that he didn't do enough to prepare the team for the game. However, he also argued that games like this happen to every coach in the NFL, even the greatest ones. He believes in himself and knows what he has done for the team over the past three years.
