Samsung has announced its plans to release a new model of its 4K Smart Monitor at CES 2024. The Smart Monitor M80D will serve as a media control center for other Galaxy devices. It will feature a Multi Control feature that allows users to move images and text between the display and a Galaxy Book, tablet, or phone. Additionally, users with Galaxy Buds can connect them to enable spatial audio with head tracking. Galaxy Watches will also be able to transmit guided workouts on the screen. Samsung is also introducing support for computer mice to make it easier to configure the monitor's settings.In terms of hardware, the 2024 refresh will be similar to the previous model, with a 32-inch screen, 4K resolution, and a SlimFit webcam. The monitor will also continue to function as a smart TV and offer USB-C ports for charging. Samsung has not provided a detailed announcement regarding the launch date and price of the Smart Monitor M80D, but it may be available in two sizes: 27 inches and 32 inches. The previous model was priced at $700, so a similar price range can be expected for the new model.
