Asus is releasing a new model in its Zenbook Duo series, claiming it is the "world's first 14-inch dual-screen OLED laptop." However, this statement is not entirely accurate as previous models had a smaller second OLED display. The new laptop features two equally sized Asus Lumina OLED displays, each with a 14-inch, 3K resolution touchscreen. It comes with a removable Asus ErgoSense keyboard that can be used wirelessly, and the two screens are attached via a 180-degree hinge, allowing the laptop to be turned into a tablet. The Zenbook Duo 2024 offers several viewing modes, including Dual Screen mode, Desktop mode, Laptop mode, and Sharing mode. Each mode provides a different way to control and present content on the laptop. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor with a Neural Processing Unit for AI acceleration. It is a lightweight and slim device, weighing 1.35kg and measuring 14.6mm when closed. Additional features include ScreenXpert for multi-touch gestures, Harman Kardon-certified speakers, and up to 2TB of storage.
The release date and price of the Zenbook Duo 2024 are currently unknown. TechRadar has listed it as one of the best Asus laptops for 2024. Asus has also unveiled other devices, such as the ROG Phone 8 and new ROG gaming laptops, at CES 2024.
