In the midst of a tempestuous tussle betwixt erstwhile crewmates, Cap'n Michael Jordan and Scurvy Scottie Pippen be nowhere to sight at the Bulls' Ring of Honor revelries! And, to our amusement, the rogue Dennis Rodman be a scurvy dog of the same ilk! Arrr, the sea be a treacherous mistress indeed!

The Big Three of the Chicago Bulls dynasty, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman, were absent from the team's inaugural Ring of Honor ceremony. While Jordan and Pippen had no plans to attend, Rodman was expected to be there but failed to show up. However, Jordan addressed the crowd through a pre-recorded video, expressing his gratitude and honoring the fans who have supported him throughout his career. He stated that he will always be a Chicago Bull. The absence of both Jordan and Pippen might have created awkwardness, considering Pippen's recent criticisms of Jordan, particularly regarding how he was portrayed in the ESPN documentary "The Last Dance." Pippen even claimed that Jordan was a "horrible" player until Pippen joined the Bulls. He also praised LeBron James as the "greatest statistical guy to ever play the game of basketball." Adding to the awkwardness, Pippen's ex-wife, Larsa, is currently dating Jordan's son, Marcus. Despite any tensions, both Jordan and Pippen have each won six titles together, cementing their place in basketball history. This is not the first time they have missed a celebration together, as Pippen was absent from the NBA 75th Anniversary celebration as well. Jordan, who sold his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets last year, made the trip to that event.
