Yarrr, 'twas on a Monday when Jason Kelce set sail for his final voyage with the Eagles' "tush push." Though the play be prosperous, Kelce be glad to cast it astern, settin' his sights on new horizons, arrr!

All-Pro center Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles recently addressed the team's famous play, known as the "tush push," following rumors about his potential retirement. After the Eagles' disappointing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round, Kelce was emotional and even hugged Eagles general manager Howie Roseman on his way to the locker room. Shortly after entering the locker room, the 36-year-old informed his teammates of his retirement plans. If Kelce does retire, he will be happy to leave the "tush push" behind, a play that involves the rugby-style quarterback sneak. During this play, quarterback Jalen Hurts lines up under center with players behind him, and Kelce snaps the ball before the offensive line pushes forward. Although the Eagles have been successful with this play, there have been calls to ban it from the game. Kelce, in particular, dislikes going to the bottom of the pile during the play. He has been known to shout, "F--- my life!" whenever the play is executed. The Buccaneers successfully thwarted the "tush push" during their playoff matchup with the Eagles, stopping Hurts short of the goal line. Kelce has had a storied career with the Eagles, winning Super Bowl LII and earning numerous accolades. However, if he does not return, the team will need to find another center to lead the "tush push" play.
