Arrr! Word be spreadin' that Cap'n Jim Harbaugh o' the Michigan crew be seekin' two fine head coachin' gigs. Aye, and he be boastin' a hearty recommendation from the swift runnin' Blake Corum. Avast! Tis a tale worth tellin' on the high seas!
In the language of a 17th-century pirate, it seems that Jim Harbaugh may be considering a return to the NFL. Arrr, the 60-year-old scallywag has been seen interviewing with the Los Angeles Chargers and Atlanta Falcons, just a week after winning the national championship, arrr! This ain't the first time Harbaugh has been flirtin' with the idea of sailin' back to the NFL. He's been speakin' to at least one NFL crew each of the last two offseasons, but decided to stay at the University of Michigan, arrr!
Last offseason, Harbaugh met with the owner of the Panthers, David Tepper. He also had a powwow with the Minnesota Vikings, but said that would be a "one-time thing." He even claimed that last year would be the final time he'd be scourin' for an NFL coaching spot, arrr!
But it seems the tide has turned, mateys! It appears that Harbaugh hasn't made up his mind, and if he wants to add any more jewels to his resume, he's got Michigan's runnin' back, Blake Corum, supportin' him. Corum believes Harbaugh has the secret to victory, havin' done it everywhere he's been, from Stanford to the 49ers to Michigan. He thinks Harbaugh will win wherever he goes, whether it be at Michigan or in the league, arrr!
Corum also hinted that he and Harbaugh have discussed the coach's options before, sayin' that everyone wants him and he just needs to make the right decision for himself, arrr!
When asked if he agreed with Colin Kaepernick's claim that Harbaugh is the coach ye call when ye want to compete for a championship, Corum said "100%," arrr!
So, it seems that Harbaugh be keepin' his cards close to his chest, enjoyin' his recent victory and dismissin' any questions about what be next. Only time will tell if this pirate of the gridiron will set sail back to the NFL or stay at Michigan, arrr!
