2024-01-19

Arr! The noble scallywags of the Buffalo Bills be seekin' hearty souls to lend a hand in sweepin' away the treacherous snow from Highmark Stadium ere the grand battle with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. Bring yer shovels and join the jolly crew, ye landlubbers!

The Buffalo Bills are once again in need of some help from the locals to clear snow from Highmark Stadium before their game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. They are offering $20 an hour to snow shovelers who can assist throughout the day and evening on Friday.

Last weekend, the Bills' Wild Card matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers had to be postponed due to a winter storm in the area. Volunteers were called upon to help clear the stadium in preparation for the game.

This week, a lake-effect snow warning was issued for parts of western New York, with one to three feet of snow expected to fall on top of what had already accumulated over the weekend. However, the game against the Chiefs is not expected to be affected by snow, as the National Weather Service predicts no snowfall on Sunday.

The matchup in Buffalo will be the first road playoff game for Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who has a 2-0 record against the Bills in the postseason. The last time these two teams faced off in the playoffs was in the 2021 AFC Divisional round, where the Chiefs emerged victorious in overtime.

Despite the Bills' recent success, winning six straight games including a victory over the Chiefs in Week 14, Mahomes acknowledges the challenge they pose. He recognizes that they have "gotten his number" many times and that the Chiefs will have to bring their best to win the game.

Kansas City is entering the game with a three-game winning streak following their win against the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round. Kick-off for Sunday's game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.

So, if you're up for some snow shoveling and want to earn $20 an hour, head over to Highmark Stadium on Friday and help the Buffalo Bills prepare for their game against the Chiefs!
