Avast ye mateys! Be ye lookin' to sort yer tabs, craft yer own themes, and receive scribblin' assistance? Then set yer sights on Google Chrome's latest treasure: generative AI tools! Arrr, they be a fine addition to yer crew, me hearties!

Google has announced the release of several new AI tools for its web browser, Google Chrome. These tools aim to improve the browsing experience by making it easier, safer, and more accessible.

One of the new features is Tab Organizer, which suggests and creates tab groups based on currently open tabs. It even suggests names and emojis to help users find their tabs more easily. To use this feature, users can right-click a tab and select "Organize Similar Tabs" or click the drop-down arrow next to their tabs.

Another tool applies generative AI to the wallpaper feature on Android 14 and Pixel 8 devices, allowing users to generate custom color themes based on their preferences. Users can activate this feature by going to the "Customize Chrome" side panel and selecting "Change theme" and then "Create with AI."

Google also introduced an AI-powered tool that activates when users right-click on any text box on the internet. This tool helps users write by generating suggestions. Users can right-click a text box or field on any website visited in Chrome and select "Help me write" to start using this feature.

These AI tools are quite useful, especially Tab Organizer and the text generator. Tab Organizer can help users save memory by efficiently managing their tabs, especially when combined with the Memory Saver mode. The text generator feature saves time by instantly filling in responses, but it raises concerns about the authenticity of reviews.

The AI-generative wallpaper tool is a fun feature that allows users to customize their browser according to their preferences. Although not practical, it adds a unique touch to the browsing experience.

These new AI tools are early public experiments and will be disabled for enterprise and educational accounts for now. Users in the U.S. can access them by signing into Chrome, selecting "Settings," and clicking on the "Experimental AI" page.
