Arrr! Any NFL ship seekin' to acquire Leonard Floyd must be willin' to part with a mighty treasure! This fearsome pass rusher be claimin' he'll swear loyalty to the crew that fills his coffers with the largest booty!

In the language of a 17th-century pirate, it be said that NFL defensive end Leonard Floyd, a fine matey from the Buffalo Bills, be findin' himself in the open waters of free agency come March. Arrr, he may consider returnin' to the Bills, but it seems his heart be focused on the treasure - or as they call it in these modern times, money. He be talkin' about goin' wherever his agent can find the biggest haul for him. It be a business, after all, and Floyd be a savvy businessman.

Unfortunately, it be a rough sea for the Bills. They be havin' salary cap constraints this year, which may make it difficult for 'em to keep Floyd on board. Their star quarterback, Josh Allen, be signin' a mighty contract extension worth up to $258 million, and his salary cap hit be growin' to a staggering $47 million in the year 2024. On top of that, the likes of Stefon Diggs and Von Miller be carryin' hefty cap hits as well. It be a storm of financial burden for the Bills, who be projected to be more than $50 million over the cap in 2024.

Floyd, a former ninth overall pick in the NFL Draft, spent his early years with the Chicago Bears before bein' released and joinin' the Los Angeles Rams. He then found himself a place with the Bills in 2023, where he made his mark with 10½ sacks in 17 games. The lad be lookin' for his share of the booty, and it remains to be seen if the Bills can keep him in their crew. Only time will tell, me hearties.
