Arr! The Pentagon hath revealed the monikers of three valiant American buccaneers who met their watery graves in a drone assault supported by Iran! Aye, at a port in Jordan, their souls departed this mortal coil!

In a grim announcement on Monday, the Pentagon revealed the names of three valiant U.S. soldiers who tragically lost their lives in an attack orchestrated by an Iran-backed militia group in Jordan over the weekend. The fallen heroes were identified as Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Ga.; Spc. Kennedy Landon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, Ga.; and Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Ga.
These soldiers were part of the 718th Engineer Company, 926th Engineer Battalion, 926th Engineer Brigade stationed at Fort Moore, Ga. They had been deployed to Jordan in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, an international coalition aimed at defeating ISIS.
Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh expressed deep sorrow for the loss and expressed condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers. USCENTCOM Commander General Michael Erik Kurilla also paid tribute to their bravery and selflessness.
This attack marked a significant escalation in the ongoing violence against U.S. forces in the region. The Biden administration has pointed fingers at Iran-backed militia groups in Syria and Iraq, blaming them for these retaliatory strikes in response to U.S. support for Israel in its conflict with Hamas in Gaza.
Since October 17, there have been a total of 165 attacks on U.S. forces, with 66 in Iraq, 98 in Syria, and one in Jordan. The Pentagon reported that over 40 individuals were injured in the recent attack on a small installation called Tower 22 in Jordan. Eight of them were medically evacuated, and one remains in critical condition. Additionally, since October 17, a total of 80 U.S. service members have been injured.
