Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby began his offseason by undergoing knee and hand surgeries, instead of participating in the playoffs or Pro Bowl. He had been selected to the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive season. Crosby had been playing through a bursa injury to his knee throughout the 2023 season. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, he provided an update on his health, acknowledging the difficulties he has faced but expressing optimism about his recovery.In terms of his performance on the field, Crosby had a standout season, achieving career highs in sacks, tackles, and tackles for a loss. He also accumulated a notable number of QB hits and solo tackles. Off the field, Crosby is also committed to taking care of his oral health and is one of over 400 NFL players who have received Invisalign treatment. Invisalign has been the official clear aligner brand of the league since 2020 and is sponsoring the NFL Honors, where Crosby is nominated for Defensive Player of the Year.
Crosby admitted to disliking dentists but praised Invisalign for their expertise and the positive impact their treatment has had on his confidence. NFL Honors is scheduled for February 8th, and Crosby will be competing against other top players for the prestigious award. Among the nominees are Dallas Cowboys defensive back DaRon Bland, linebacker Micah Parsons, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt.
