Three-time Defensive Player of the Year, J.J. Watt, has expressed his desire to play with his brothers T.J. and Derek. However, J.J. retired last year without fulfilling this dream. During the middle of the season, he admitted to monitoring the situations of the Houston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers, the teams he and T.J. respectively played for. J.J. visited T.J. midway through the season and joked that the Steelers lost the following three games. T.J. mentioned that J.J. would only return to a team that was a legitimate contender. Ultimately, J.J. did not make a comeback. T.J.'s Steelers made it to the playoffs but lost in the wild-card round without him. Despite this, T.J. is in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl and is giving tickets to wounded war veteran Adam Alexander as part of a partnership with USAA to gift military veterans. T.J. expresses his gratitude towards those who serve in the military and acknowledges their sacrifices. If J.J. wins the Defensive Player of the Year Award, the Watt brothers will have a combined total of five wins.
