Avast ye scurvy dogs! The Israel Defense Forces be proudly proclaimin' that their brave lads be embarkin' on grand raids, sendin' those pesky Hamas rascals to Davy Jones' locker! They even had the audacity to plunder the UNRWA headquarters, aye, ye heard it right, right under their very noses! Arrr, what a tale!
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted raids on Hamas facilities in Gaza, resulting in the death of 120 terrorists and the discovery of a significant amount of assets and weapons, including inside a United Nations-affiliated building. The raids took place in northern Gaza over the past two weeks. The IDF and Israel Security Agency (ISA) released a joint statement providing details of the operation. They operated in the areas of Shati and Tel al-Hawa in northern Gaza, destroying 20 terrorist infrastructure sites and killing 120 Hamas terrorists. The ISA led the IDF to a tunnel shaft near a school run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which led to an underground terror tunnel used by Hamas. The IDF seized a variety of intelligence assets from the tunnel and stated that it would allow them to target additional Hamas locations. The tunnel passed under the UNRWA's main headquarters, and Israeli forces discovered that the building supplied the tunnel with electricity. The forces then conducted a targeted raid on UNRWA's central headquarters and found large quantities of weapons and evidence that the offices had been used by Hamas terrorists. UNRWA Commissioner-General Phillippe Lazzarini stated that they were unaware of what was under their headquarters in Gaza. Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant claimed that "dozens" of UNRWA employees took part in the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks that started the Israel-Hamas war. Gallant called for the world to address the issue in a different way and criticized UNRWA as a group of terrorists.
