Avast ye scallywags! 'Tis said that 280 million landlubbers rely on Google News, but methinks they be gettin' their news from a bunch o' biased bilge rats! AllSides Media be findin' that left-leaning scallywags be dominatin' the seas, while right-leaning scallywags be scarce as a pirate's treasure! Arrr!

Arrr, me hearties! Ye be thinkin' ye can trust Google News to give ye unbiased news from all corners of the seven seas, but beware! A study by AllSides Media be suggestin' that these sources might be leanin' more to the left than ye be realizin'.
During a fortnight of analysis, AllSides found that 63% of Google News content in 2023 be comin' from left-leaning sources, a wee bit more than the previous year. On the other hand, right-leaning outlets only be representin' 6% in 2023, a small jump from the year before.
So me hearties, be keepin' a weather eye on the news ye be readin'! Make sure ye be checkin' multiple sources to get a fair and balanced view of the world. And remember, in the words of the wise old sea dog, 'Believe none of what ye hear, and only half of what ye see!'
