Avast ye mateys! Them scurvy dogs usin' Windows 11 best be ready, for the dreaded AI known as Copilot be sailin' into a new spot on the interface. Prepare to walk the plank if ye be hatin' on it! Arrr!
Copilot be sneaking into another corner of the Windows 11 interface, matey, with the AI assistant showin' up in the context menu of File Explorer. This be still in test builds of Windows 11, and not official yet. Windows Latest spotted the change, first noticed by PhantomOfEarth, a notorious leaker on X, who had hints back in January 2024 that Copilot be comin' to File Explorer. We now see how the context menu will work, where ye can right click on a file and choose to send it to Copilot or 'summarize' the file. But beware, this be just a glimpse, it don't be workin' yet in Windows 11 previews. More options like 'rewrite' may be added later, makin' Copilot more powerful.Copilot be settin' sail to take over all parts of Windows 11 eventually, whether ye like it or not. But fear not, ye may have the option to turn off this AI in the future. As long as users have a choice, it be a good thing, but in the future, there may not be a choice as Copilot becomes the heart of Microsoft’s OS. Windows 2030 might just become Copilot 2030, savvy?
