Ye scallywags in Florida be listenin’ up! A newfangled law be passed that says no wee ones under 14 can have social-media accounts, even if their parents give the okay. Come Jan. 1, it be the law o’ the land!So what be the deal with this law? Will it stand up to the courts’ scrutiny? And how be these social-media companies s’posed to know who be a youngling and who be a grown-up? It be a head-scratcher, it be!
The law be tellin’ these social-media companies to shut down them accounts that they think bein’ used by youngins under 14. But how be they to know for sure? It be like tryin’ to catch a slippery eel with yer bare hands!
