In the year of our Lord 2023, Derek Carr, the swashbuckling pirate of the football field, nearly guided the New Orleans Saints to the coveted playoffs in his maiden voyage as their starting quarterback. Arrr! After spending a goodly nine years with the scallywags of the Las Vegas Raiders, he made a daring move to a new ship.But alas, in the wake of the Raiders' former skipper Jon Gruden walking the plank over some leaked scroll, the old general Mike Mayock be not amused.
