The good folks at Google have just dropped a new version of ChromeOS that be chock-full of booty, includin' the ability to create yer own custom keyboard shortcuts and rearrange the functions of yer trusty mouse buttons. This new version, ChromeOS M123, be bringin' these new powers and more, but the ability to define yer own keyboard shortcuts be the real treasure for owners of the finest Chromebooks on the high seas.If ye be used to workin' a certain way with a specific shortcut, now ye can switch over to that with ease. Ye can even rearrange shortcuts to make 'em easier to trigger with just one hand - stretch that thumb and finger, me hearties! And don't forget about redefinin' yer mouse buttons to trigger different functions like takin' a screenshot - handy for them with plenty of side buttons on their mouse.And that's not all, with the latest update, now yer Chromebook can share its cellular connection with other devices through tetherin'. The new voices for text-to-speech be soundin' more natural and be available in 31 different languages. Aye, there be some catch with the tetherin' feature, as it currently only supports T-Mobile in the US, but fear not, Google be workin' to add more networks in future releases.
