Aye, they be doling out nearly $200 million in fines for illegally sharin' access to customers' location information.The FCC be settlin' on fines that were first suggested back in February 2020. T-Mobile be gettin' slapped with an $80 million fine, while Sprint, which be now owned by T-Mobile, be gettin' a $12 million fine. AT&T be walkin' the plank with a $57 million fine, and Verizon Communications be gettin' nearly $47 million in fines.
These scurvy dogs be sellin' "real-time location information to data...". Aye, ye heard right, they be sellin' out their customers' location information like it be treasure!
