In a recent leak from Dell, it was revealed that Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon X Elite processors will offer a significant boost in battery life compared to Intel's chips. While the exact increase in battery longevity will vary depending on the model and screen used, gains could range from 68% to 98%. Qualcomm's own testing has shown impressive results, with the Snapdragon X Elite offering 43% more battery life than Intel's Core Ultra 7 for local video playback and 89% longer battery life for YouTube streaming.According to the leak, Qualcomm is also planning to launch the second version of these processors, possibly known as Snapdragon X Gen2 or Oryon V2, in the second half of 2025. The third version, Snapdragon X Gen3, is expected to follow in late 2027. The leak suggests that the new Snapdragon chips will offer significant improvements in battery life and performance, making them a leap forward for laptops. While the leak provides valuable insights, it is important to approach the information with caution until confirmed by official sources.
