Arrr matey, it be said that the Windows Phone Link be gettin' a grand new feature! Ye can now plunder the text from photos with ease, aye, makin' it simple to copy and share the treasures ye find on yer phone. Aye, technology be a fine thing!

In the language of a 17th-century pirate, me hearties, there be talk of a new Microsoft Phone Link update on the horizon to make text swapping between yer phone and PC a lot easier. Arrr, ye can select text in photos synced from yer Android phone, matey! The Phone Link app on yer PC (also known as Link to Windows on yer phone) allows ye to sync calls, messages, notifications, and images from yer Android device to yer PC. Just like how ye sync yer iPhone with yer MacBook, so ye can respond to messages and access photos without touchin' yer phone. This new feature uses optical character recognition (OCR) to find text in images and lets ye copy it to a word processor, email, or text box. Aye, it's a boon for those who hate typin' out details! But alas, the feature be only available in Microsoft's preview channel for now.Apple users may raise an eyebrow at this update, but it's still a handy change. The OCR may not be perfect, matey, so ye best double-check the pasted text. If ye need to paste long or important text, cross-device copy and paste might be the better option. The feature be locked behind the Windows Insider Preview Build for now, but it's likely to set sail soon for all users to enjoy. Join the Insider Preview Build to give it a try and see what other treasures Microsoft be cookin' up!
