Arrr, mateys! The New York Giants be makin' a right peculiar choice, unretirin' the sacred number one, once held by ol' Ray Flaherty in '35! Now they be handin' it to the scallywag Malik Nabers! Blimey, what be next, a parrot as captain? Har har har!
Ahoy there, me hearties! Gather 'round and lend an ear to the curious tale of the New York Giants and their newest swashbuckler, Malik Nabers! This scallywag be yet to strut his stuff on the grand stage of the NFL, yet the Giants be givin' him the honor of wearin' the fabled No. 1, previously retired by the legendary Ray Flaherty!Back in the year of our Lord 1935, Flaherty, a Hall of Famer, hung up his boots, and his No. 1 went silent. Team co-owner John Mara threw his weight behind Nabers, and soon enough, the Flaherty family gave their blessing!
