Gather 'round as I spin ye a yarn 'bout the Chicago Bears, who be scratchin' their heads over who’ll keep the milestone ball after the young scallywag Caleb Williams tossed his first touchdown this season to Rome Odunze, makin' it a right fine affair! Aye, this be the first passin' touchdown from a rookie quarterback in the 2024 season, after a pair of weeks filled with shoddy play that'd make even a parrot squawk in dismay!Williams, along with other greenhorns like Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels, struggled to plunder the end zone, but he found his sea legs just in time to score again late in the match against the Indianapolis Colts. Alas, the Bears fell short, losin' 21-16, as Jonathan Taylor of the Colts maneuvered like a crafty sea serpent, snatchin' the first down while the Bears were outta timeouts.
Though our brave quarterback had two interceptions before throwin' those touchdowns, he still managed to rack up the most yards in Week 3, lettin' loose 52 cannonballs... er, passes, for 363 yards! So hoist the sails high, me hearties! While victories be what we crave, that first touchdown be a treasure worth rememberin’!
