Avast, me hearties! Gather 'round fer a tale of woe from the fair land of Alabama, where a young lad by the name of Semaj Wilkins, a mere 14 summers old, did set sail into the great unknown after a tragic mishap on the field o' football. Aye, on the fateful day of August 13, whilst practicin' with his crew, the lad did collapse, unresponsive as a ship lost at sea, and was whisked away to the nearest harbor—er, hospital. Alas, his journey did not end well. The Coffee County Coroner, in his wisdom, declared that the boy's heart had grown too large, sufferin' from a condition known as congestive heart failure, born of a mighty heart anomaly! Aye, it be a cruel twist o' fate, as this young scallywag was full of spirit and joy, bringin' light to his mates on and off the field.
Semaj be one of seven souls lost to the sport in that very month, causin' many a parent to raise their sails in caution. His loss be felt deep in the hearts of many, as the school superintendent mourned his passing. So, me mateys, let this be a lesson: Keep a weather eye on yer young ones and take heed of the storms that may brew on the sports fields! Arrr!
