"Arrr! A scallywag recounts a foul deed on Bourbon Street, spillin’ sorrow like rum from a busted barrel!"

Arrr, matey! Jimmy Cothran, a scallywag who be spiedin’ during the ruckus in New Orleans on New Year’s, spun a yarn ‘bout the hullabaloo. He be sayin’ what folks should keep in their noggins whilst they mend from the kerfuffle on "The Story." Avast, what a tale!
Arrr, gather 'round, ye scallywags, fer I be tellin' ye the tale of a dreadful night in New Orleans! Our matey, Jimmy Cothran, bore witness to a fearsome attack on Bourbon Street, where a villainous knave named Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a Texas swab and Army veteran gone rogue, turned a merry celebration into a tragedy. Aye, the good folks be countin’ at least 14 souls lost to the depths, with many more injured!Jimmy's heart be heavy, as he be recallin' the faces of the innocent, like fair Nicole Perez, a young mother torn from her child, and the wee Nikyra Dedeaux, who was just dancin' and livin' her best life when the foul deed occurred. "By the briny depths," he lamented, "it broke me to see them!" He raged against the lack of barriers in the city, reckonin' that had they been in place, the maraudin' truck wouldn’t have plowed through the revelers like a cannonball through a ship’s hull!
Yet, 'tis not all doom and gloom, fer Jimmy sent a message to the crew: cherish each other, like a ship's crew in a storm! Life be fleeting, and we can’t waste it on trifles when danger lurks in the shadows. Aye, let us remember those lost and be better mates to one another! Arrr!
