Arrr, mateys! Hear ye, hear ye! Microsoft be hard at work improving the look and feel of Edge on many a front. They be workin' like busy beavers, aye, but will it be enough to make us all jump ship from our beloved browsers? Only time will tell!
Arrr, Microsoft has added a new feature to their Edge browser, me hearties! This here feature lets ye clear yer browser's cache and history with just one click. The change is currently only available in the Canary (earliest test) version of Edge. The new trash can icon can be found in the History hub and takes ye to the clear data panel, where ye can select what ye want to clear and then click 'Clear Now'. It's technically a two-click process if ye be clearing everything, but it's still a handy shortcut.Microsoft has been making other changes to the History hub and the interface of Edge in general. Last month, they made the History hub longer so ye can view more browsing history at once. They also implemented a darker dark mode (fully black, not dark gray) which may divide opinion. In addition, there's a new Settings panel in the works, which will allow ye to turn off or on optional features, potentially making Edge less clunky.
All in all, it seems Microsoft is full steam ahead with interface changes for Edge. Keep an eye on this one, me hearties, as it may become a treasure trove of useful features. Arrr, via MS Power User.
