Arr, me hearties! The New York Yankees' very own Aaron Judge be tellin' the press on Saturday that he's got a torn ligament in his right big toe. Alas, he be keepin' his return date a secret. Shiver me timbers!

Avast ye mateys! The New York Yankees have lost their big gun, Aaron Judge, for a while as he has a torn ligament in his right big toe. The reigning American League MVP injured himself against the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 3rd when he ran into the outfield wall while making a catch. Judge stated that he has not heard of many people tearing a ligament in their toe and as it's his back foot, it's a tough spot to heal. He refused to give a timeline for his return, stating that he just wants to get better before he steps out again. The Yankees said that Judge responded well to a second plasma injection in his toe, and manager Aaron Boone hopes he will be back this season, but he can't guarantee it. The Yankees, who have already struggled this month, losing 10 of 16 games since Judge's injury, will have to wait for him to heal. Judge is unable to run and is still feeling pain when he walks, which is the biggest hurdle he needs to overcome before returning to the game. The balance and ability to transfer weight will be the biggest key for him. Until then, the Yankees will have to continue to rally without their MVP. Arrrr!
