Arrr, me hearties! Word on the seas be that them fancy-pants Mounties from the Royal Canadian Fleet be mulling over whether to pursue a criminal inquiry into the recent blast of the Titan watery vessel that took five souls down to Davy Jones' Locker. Shiver me timbers, they sure take their investigations seriously!
Arrr, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police be investigatin' the circumstances surroundin' the fatal voyage of OceanGate Expedition's Titan submersible. They be tryin' to determine if a criminal investigation be needed. If they find that criminal, federal, or provincial laws were possibly broken, then they will proceed with the investigation. The submersible carried five men to tour the wreckage of the Titanic. However, it suffered a fatal implosion, and the rescue teams found a debris field. The U.S. Coast Guard confirmed the fatal implosion. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said they would investigate the incident as well. The RCMP has jurisdiction for off-sea deaths and will work with other agencies that were involved in the search. There be no suspicion of criminal activity per se, but the RCMP is taking initial steps to assess whether they will proceed with a criminal investigation. Those who died in the implosion were OceanGate CEO Stock Rush Rush, two members of a prominent Pakistani family, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, British adventurer Hamish Harding, and Titanic expert Paul-Henry Nargeolet. Fox News Digital reached out to OceanGate Expeditions for comment.
