Arrr! Avast, me hearties! 'Twas a time, long past, when Aaron Judge, that fine buccaneer, be makin' a grand spectacle at Dodger Stadium. But alas, he be crashin' through yonder outfield fence and grievously wounded his foot. Oh, the pirate's life be treacherous, indeed!

Reigning American League MVP Aaron Judge had a remarkable catch during a game at Dodger Stadium on June 3. However, the catch came at a cost as he crashed into the right field bullpen fence, tearing a ligament in his toe. As a result, Judge was placed on the injured list and it remains uncertain when he will be able to return to the Yankees lineup.
Despite the impact the injury has had on his season, Judge has decided not to pursue any legal action against the team. When asked about a potential lawsuit, Judge commented that there is no need for it.
There is a precedent for MLB players suing teams after getting injured at ballparks, as former Yankees player Dustin Fowler filed a lawsuit against the Chicago White Sox in 2017. However, Judge's focus remains on making a comeback this season. He has started playing catch and taking some light swings with a bat, but it will still be some time before he can return to the lineup.
Judge mentioned that his injured toe doesn't feel great and may never feel normal again. He acknowledged that injuries can bother players for years and it's uncertain how long it will take for him to feel "normal" again. This is Judge's second stint on the injured list this season, as he previously missed 11 games due to a hip strain.
While surgery is a possibility, Judge stated that it won't happen this year and they are not at that point yet. He remains focused on his recovery and getting back to playing for the Yankees as soon as possible.
