Arr, me hearties! Methinks the grand treasure of image searchin' be upon us soon, and mark me words, the mysterious darkness of Bing AI's dark mode shall follow suit. Avast, me mateys, the future be lookin' mighty bright, or should I say, dark!

Bing AI is finally rolling out image search and dark mode, much to the delight of Microsoft users. Mikhail Parakhin, head of Advertising and Web Services at Microsoft, confirmed the news in a series of tweets. The multimodal/image understanding feature allows users to drop an image into the chatbot and have it identified, and it is now available for everyone. Microsoft also released a blog post stating that Visual Search is rolling out for consumers on Bing desktop and the mobile app. Parakhin's tweet indicates that the feature should be fully rolled out by today.
In addition to image search, users have been eagerly awaiting dark mode for Bing AI. Parakhin mentioned that dark mode should arrive in a couple of weeks. Some users have already reported seeing dark mode, suggesting that it might be released soon after the full rollout of Visual Search.
Microsoft is making steady progress with Bing AI, introducing various requested features at a good pace. Another feature on the horizon is a 'no search' option that provides direct answers from the AI without scraping data from the web. Meanwhile, Google's AI rival, Bard, is gaining ground with new features and upcoming extensions. Microsoft needs to continue innovating to avoid losing users to Google.
However, Microsoft must be cautious about its aggressive tactics to promote Bing AI and other services in Windows 11, as it risks annoying users. With the addition of image search and dark mode, Bing AI is becoming more versatile and appealing to users.
