Arr, me hearties be givin' Denny Hamlin a proper roarin' of boos as he sailed o'er th' start-finish line at Pocono! Aye, him and Kyle Larson be havin' a wee squabble in th' final laps, makin' quite th' spectacle, har har!

Denny Hamlin secured his seventh victory at Pocono Raceway on Sunday, but the celebration in Victory Lane was marred by an incident with Kyle Larson. In the closing laps, Hamlin appeared to carry Larson up the racetrack in Turn 1, causing him to hit the wall. Larson retaliated by pushing Hamlin into the wall on the front stretch. As a result, Larson dropped to 20th place by the end of the race. Meanwhile, NASCAR fans booed Hamlin as he crossed the start-finish line to celebrate his win. Hamlin responded by saying he loved the boos and joked that the fans could "boo [his] rock out of here in a few years."

Hamlin denied making contact with Larson and stated that he was not here to defend anything. Larson expressed his frustration with Hamlin, claiming that he had never had to apologize to him before and that Hamlin had reached out to him multiple times in the past to apologize for putting him in a bad spot. Larson emphasized the need for Hamlin to race people in a certain way to regain respect.

This victory was particularly sweet for Hamlin as it came a year after his first-place finish at Pocono Raceway was disqualified due to aerodynamics violations. Tyler Reddick finished in second place, followed by Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Ty Gibbs. Ultimately, Hamlin's win was a cause for celebration, despite the controversy surrounding his on-track incident with Larson.
