Arrr! Be there a chance we shall lay our eyes on the mighty 23H2 update in a mere couple o' months? Aye, it be possible, mateys!

Arr me hearties, thar be word that Windows 11's grand update might be sailin' in afore ye reckon!

Windows 11's next big update, known as 23H2, may be coming sooner than expected. Clues found in the July cumulative update for Windows 11 suggest that the update is just around the corner. The tech site Windows Latest discovered references to several packages related to 'Moment 4' in the patch. This indicates that Moment 4 is the 23H2 update, which is a full upgrade for the OS.
Windows Latest also found that Microsoft is testing an enablement package named Microsoft-Windows-23H2Enablement-Package, which aligns with what is known about 23H2. Microsoft has confirmed that 23H2 will be an enablement package, meaning that the files for the upgrade will be preloaded to Windows 11 PCs and can be activated with a simple enablement switch. This suggests that the groundwork for 23H2 is well underway.
While there is a possibility that 23H2 could be released in September to keep pace with 22H2, rumors point to a more realistic release date in October. The recent updates to the Beta channel for Windows 11, including a File Explorer revamp and RGB lighting hub, indicate that progress is moving along well with the 23H2 update.
However, the fact that Microsoft's Copilot AI is still in an early stage could work against the theory of an earlier release. It is supposed to be included with 23H2, but it may not make the cut or could be a limited version. This could potentially hinder Microsoft's goal of making a good first impression with the AI.
