Avast, me hearties! AMD be supplyin' only one ship o' the laptop kin with its finest mobile gamblin' processor yet, the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D. Arrr, ye be yearnin' for power, mateys!

AMD has officially announced its latest mobile gaming processor, the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D. However, there is a catch - it will only be available for the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D laptop. This chip is considered to be the best mobile chip ever and the first to use the 3D V-Cache technology. It features 64MB of L3 cache bonded on top of one of its eight-core chiplets, along with the same TDP and peak 5.4GHz clock speed. The Ryzen 9 7945HX3D's full specs include Zen 4 architecture, 16 cores and 32 threads, L2 cache of 16GB, L3 cache of 128GB, TDP between 55 and 75W, and an AMD Radeon 610M GPU. The processor is set to launch on August 22nd, 2023.
Many are disappointed that only one laptop will benefit from the impressive 3D V-Cache technology. This technology allows for better performance without increasing energy consumption or cooling requirements, making it ideal for gaming laptops. Additionally, the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D chip could potentially compete with Intel's Raptor Lake-HX and the upcoming 14th-gen CPU refresh. It seems like AMD is missing a great opportunity to challenge Intel's dominance in the processor market. This is not the first time AMD has released limited supply processors, as seen with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D and the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D. These decisions have left many perplexed and frustrated with AMD's strategy.
