In the language of a 17th-century pirate, there be some serious scuffles happenin' at training camp, mateys! Even between teammates, tempers be flarin' like a cannon ready to fire. But ye can only imagine what happens when two teams collide!
The Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders found themselves in the midst of multiple brouhahas durin' their joint practice. Arr, it was a battle on the gridiron, it was!
In one kerfuffle, that scallywag Ravens' receiver Tylan Wallace threw a blow at Commanders' rookie Emmanuel Forbes when the cornerback tried to snatch the ball from his hands. Aye, Wallace weren't havin' it and threw a punch right back. Forbes, not one to back down, returned the favor, and they traded a few more blows before their mates joined the fray.
But the skirmishes didn't end there, mateys! Ar'Darius Washington and Cole Turner found themselves in another disagreement on the field, shoutin' words at each other like parrots squabblin' over a piece of treasure. Even Washington's offensive coordinator, Eric Bienemy, had to step in and give his lads a piece of his mind.
And would ye believe it? Even Baltimore's tight end, Mark Andrews, got in on the action! After an incomplete pass, Andrews decided to introduce Washington defender Danny Johnson to the ground. They had to be separated, and the rest of the teams joined in the verbal battle.
Ahoy, it's gonna be a long week for these two crews! All this ruckus be in preparation for their preseason showdown on Monday night in Washington. The Ravens be seekin' their fifth playoff appearance in six seasons, while Washington be fightin' for just their second playoff berth since 2015. It be a battle on the high seas, me hearties!
