Arr, matey! NASCAR's Bubba Wallace did confess to seekin' counsel from IndyCar's Scott Dixon, tryin' to fathom the intricacies of the mind whilst steerin' the wheel. Aye, a fine choice to unravel the mysteries of the mental voyage, says I!

Bubba Wallace, a NASCAR driver, achieved a top 15 finish at Watkins Glen International, hoping to secure a spot in the NASCAR playoffs before the final race of the season. After the race, Wallace revealed that he had a conversation with IndyCar legend Scott Dixon about the mental aspect of racing. It had been a while since Wallace had a top 15 finish, with his last one being at Richmond, and he had even finished in the top 10 at Loudon in two previous races.

Wallace thanked Dixon for the advice he received, saying that it's tough to go into a road course race and constantly doubt oneself, thinking that they will crash and perform poorly. Dixon's advice was to trust in oneself and believe that they are there for a reason. Wallace took this advice to heart and had a positive mindset throughout the race, resulting in a solid performance.

Currently, Wallace is in the 16th spot in the standings as he heads into the last race of the regular season at Daytona. He had a 20th place finish at Daytona 500 earlier in the season and came in 11th during the summer race at the track. He has Ty Gibbs, Daniel Suarez, A.J. Allmendinger, Alex Bowman, and Chase Elliott trailing behind him in the standings. As Wallace continues to work on his mental game and apply Dixon's advice, he hopes to secure a spot in the playoffs and have a successful season.
