Avast, ye scurvy dogs! 'Tis been reported that the landlubbers who dared to pounce upon Atlanta Braves' swashbuckler, Ronald Acuña Jr., whilst he treaded the fields o' Denver, have been apprehended by the authorities. Aye, justice be served!
Two scallywags who accosted Ronald Acuña Jr. were captured and thrown in the brig on the morrow. Jefferson Gonzales-Merida, 23, and Carlos Rivelo-Paiz, 21, be facing charges of trespassing and disturbing the peace at Coors Field, the home of the Colorado Rockies, according to the constabulary. A third miscreant, a young whelp, was also cited for trespassing. Whilst one buccaneer had his spyglass out, perchance to take a likeness with Acuña, a guardian of the peace swiftly intervened and seized the pirate, who clung tightly to the outfielder. Another guardian attempted to help by seizing the pirate’s limbs, but the pirate refused to let go of Acuña. That be when another pirate swashbuckled onto the field with the same intent, and chaos ensued. The arrival of the second pirate summoned more guardians, causin' Acuña to stumble over one of the guardsmen and plummet to the deck. The Braves’ bullpen catcher and other scurvy dogs on the field rushed to check on their mate whilst security apprehended the pirates. The second pirate also spouted words at the outfielder, and he resisted as a multitude of guardsmen wrestled him off the field. The outfielder and MVP contender admitted he was "a little scared" during the commotion, but all be well in the end. Manager Brian Snitker remarked that it be a frightful situation, for ye ne'er know what those landlubbers may do. Outfielder Kevin Pillar acknowledged that the pirates may not have harbored malicious intent, but rules be in place to ensure the safety of all on the field. The Braves emerged victorious in that skirmish, besting the Colorado Rockies with a score of 14-4, improving their season record to 85-45. Arrr!
