Arrr! 'Twas a sight to behold as young Tyrell Henry of Michigan State, a swashbuckling wide receiver, didst make a wondrous catch with but a single hand, shiver me timbers! Aye, the Spartans did plow through Central Michigan, claimin' a 31-7 victory on that fateful Friday night.
The college football season has begun, and there's already a contender for the "catch of the year." Michigan State started their season with a 31-7 victory over Central Michigan, with a standout moment in the fourth quarter. Spartans quarterback Noah Kim threw a pass into the endzone, where wide receiver Tyrell Henry made an incredible one-handed touchdown catch. It was the first touchdown of Henry's collegiate career. Central Michigan coach Jim McElwain described it as a "SportsCenter highlight." Henry, who didn't have any catches in his freshman season, expressed his goal of being a playmaker and bringing explosiveness to the team. Michigan State is hoping for a better season after a disappointing 5-7 record in 2022. Head coach Mel Tucker emphasized the importance of executing in all three phases of the game and getting the win. They now shift their focus to their next opponent, the Richmond Spiders.
