Avast ye! Microsoft's Windows Insider Program be offerin' ye a glimpse o' Windows 11 Build 23545, me hearties! Prepare to set sail on a ship wi' enhanced File Explorer, a fine AI voice assistant, and a whole lot more booty to plunder!

Windows 11 may be getting a fix to improve the performance of its File Explorer app, but currently, only those in the Windows Insider Program have access to it. The update, named Windows 11 build 23545, includes fixes for performance issues, crashes, and a new dark theme. The changes to File Explorer address issues that cause it to get stuck or crash, as well as improvements to launch performance. Microsoft is aware that users have been trying unofficial fixes to speed up Windows 11 and wants to offer an official solution.
Since its release, Windows 11's loading and processing speeds have been compared to its predecessors, Windows 10 and Windows 7. The new build aims to reduce crashes and loading times, and it will be interesting to see if these improvements make it into a future Windows 11 update.
In addition to the File Explorer update, Microsoft is also testing its new AI voice assistant, Windows Copilot. It is currently only available for business Microsoft 365 subscribers and Windows Insider Program members. Microsoft is actively listening to feedback and making changes based on that feedback. Other improvements in the works include experimenting with different Taskbar experiences, adding utilities to Windows Share, and fixing input issues.
These updates demonstrate Microsoft's commitment to improving Windows 11's usability as its flagship product. Users can sign up for the Windows Insider Program to try out and provide feedback on these future features.
