This victory marked Florida State's ninth consecutive win, but it was their first close call this season. Fans at the Boston College stadium even chanted "overrated" as the Seminoles left the field. Looking ahead, Florida State will face another ACC opponent, Clemson, in their next game. A win against Clemson would keep Florida State in the running for the College Football Playoff.
