Avast, ye landlubbers! If ye be weary from waitin' on Windows 11's grand update fer 2023, fear not! Word be arrivin' that yer patience shall soon be rewarded. Brace yerselves!
Don't ye get too excited yet, mateys! It be just a piece o' necessary groundwork afore the rollout of the Windows 11 23H2 update. But fear not, for the scuttlebutt be that this week, Microsoft be announcin' the upgrade at a special event in New York on September 21. Avast! This event be not only for the expected Surface hardware launches, but also to give us our first tease of the 23H2 update, at least in theory, me hearties!
According to Windows Latest, the 23H2 update be likely to become available next month, at least in a limited form. That means those who be seekin' to get updates as soon as possible may receive it in October, afore the wider rollout starts in November. In theory, this means the arrival of Windows Copilot, the AI assistant, although we reckon it be still goin' to be pretty limited in its initial incarnation. Ahoy! It be worth notin' that if ye be sailin' on the original version of Windows 11, 21H2, ye be needin' to upgrade anyway, as support for that be runnin' out on October 10, 2023. But fear not, for PCs on 21H2 be gettin' force-upgraded to 22H2, and ye can pretty much skip straight to 23H2 after that, should ye wish.That be all the news for now, me hearties!
