Arr, landlubbers! Pro wrestler Grayson Waller parlayed with Fox News Digital 'bout the WWE hoistin' an event in his native Australia in 2024, after many a year. Aye, 'tis a sight fer sore eyes!

The WWE roster will be returning to Australia in February 2023 to host the Elimination Chamber event at Optus Stadium in Perth. This will be the first time WWE has been in Australia since 2018 and the second consecutive year the event will be hosted outside of the U.S. Pro wrestler Grayson Waller, an Australia native, expressed his excitement to perform in his home country. He believes Australia is a fun market for WWE and the fans always turn up for the big shows.
Waller also commented on the significance of hosting Elimination Chamber in Australia, as it sets up WrestleMania and will be a huge show in Perth. He emphasized the size of Optus Stadium, noting that WWE is going all out for this event. The atmosphere in Australia is expected to be different from shows in the U.S. because Australian fans have to wait longer between events and it's a real treat to see certain stars on the card.
Waller shared his own journey into wrestling, mentioning how he first watched matches on tapes from Blockbuster Video and his mother took him to his first match when he was 12 years old. He recalled the memorable match between Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. The announcement of WWE's return to Australia comes after the company merged with UFC to become TKO Group Holdings.
WWE senior vice president Chris Legentil expressed excitement about hosting the event in Perth and hopes to leave a lasting memory for Western Australia and the entire WWE Universe.
