Apple is giving its iCloud website a redesign and introducing new features to enhance user experience. While the quick-glance widgets remain from last year's update, users now have more customization options. They can choose specific folders from the Notes app or display their favorite photographs. Quality-of-life changes include the addition of Quick Actions, which allow users to mark reminders as complete or flag emails. PC users can now receive Mail and Calendar notifications for incoming emails and event invitations. In iCloud Mail, users can attach files directly from storage and unsend recently sent emails before they reach the recipient's inbox. The Calendar offers Identity Control to hide email addresses in event invitations, and users can combine their "Calendar and Mail identities" using a Custom Email Domain.
Photos now have the Memories tool for a full-screen view of images, similar to Google Photos, and the Slideshow feature allows users to view a selection of images in a slideshow format. Notes receive the Shared Folder option for collaboration and Enhanced Search to narrow search results based on shared notes or tags.
The update is currently live, and users can sign in to experience the revamped layout. For those looking for alternative cloud storage services, TechRadar provides a list of the best options.
